Intraday trader

Are you ready to take on a key role in a global 24/7 trading operation? Do you have a sharp analytical mind and thrive in fast-paced environments? Want to make real-time decisions with tangible impact from day one?

Join us and help drive the future of intraday power trading at Norlys Energy Trading A/S.

At Norlys Energy Trading, you’ll step into a key position in our 24/7 trading operation, based at our Aalborg office. As an Intraday Trader in our IDE team, you won’t just be part of the action — you’ll be helping steer it. Our trading operation runs around the clock, with Aalborg covering day and evening shifts, and our Singapore office handling the nights. You’ll be working in shifts, helping ensure continuous and seamless market participation across both intraday and day-ahead operations.

This full-time permanent role offers the chance to work with a highly skilled team that values collaboration, curiosity, and real ownership. It's an ideal role for someone ambitious who wants to grow and excel in one of Europe’s most exciting energy trading environments.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute intraday power trading strategies in real-time markets
  • Support day-ahead operations to ensure a smooth handover and coverage
  • Monitor real-time market data and make swift, data-driven trading decisions
  • Collaborate closely with traders across shifts and locations to optimize trading outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of tools, strategies, and market insights
  • Cover shifts as part of a global 24/7 rotation (Aalborg: day/evening; Singapore: night)
If you want to be where decisions matter and every day is different, this is the place to be.
