Senior Software Developer (Intraday Quant Trading)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications for algorithmic trading, primarily in Python with ample opportunity to branch into C# if desired.
  • Collaborate with traders and analysts to optimize trading strategies and implement new features.
  • Build a robust toolset for data exploration and analysis.
  • Ensure software reliability and uphold high standards of code quality.
  • Become a leading expert on high quality Python development and pass this knowledge on to your peers.

Job Requirements

  • A master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Very  strong skills in building robust and well-structured Python applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to continuously learn
     

Other desirable qualifications

  • Experience with model and data pipeline tools (Argo, Flyte, Spark, MLFlow, Azure Data Factory, AzureML, etc.)
  • Experience with Kubernetes deployment and/or Azure
  • Familiarity with automated deployment (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Experience programming C#/.NET
