Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to handle large-scale weather and forecast data.
  • Support researchers with tools and infrastructure to model complex energy systems.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers and quants to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Ensure systems are robust, maintainable, and production-ready.
  • Leverage cloud platforms (like Azure) for optimal performance and scalability.

What We’re Looking For

  • M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science – or equivalent industry experience
  • Proficiency in Python and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code
  • Familiarity with Python extension languages (e.g. C++, Rust)
  • Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure
  • Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills

Bonus points for:

Experience with scientific Python tools (Pandas, Xarray, Dask, Zarr…)

Knowledge of web development (TypeScript, React…)
