Cloud Engineer

We are looking for two Cloud Engineers to join our Cloud Development team in Aalborg. The team develops and operates the core infrastructure and platform used across Norlys Energy Trading. This role is for someone who wants to work hands-on with cloud platform development and operations and enjoys being part of a team where collaboration, curiosity, and a willingness to learn matter.
The team
Cloud Development is responsible for developing and running the company's core platform and infrastructure. The team works across both development and operations and plays a central role in ensuring that our platform remains stable and reliable.
The role
As a Cloud Engineer, you will work with both platform development and operations. Together with the rest of the team, you will help maintain and improve the infrastructure and platform services that support the business.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain platform services and infrastructure.
- Support the operation of the cloud platform.
- Help improve platform capabilities and reliability.
- Participate in troubleshooting and operational tasks.
- Contribute to continuous improvements across the platform.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation.

What we are looking for
We are looking for people who are curious, pragmatic, and motivated to learn. You may already have experience in some of the areas below, or you may be earlier in your career and looking for an opportunity to develop your skills within cloud, infrastructure, and platform engineering.
What matters most is that you enjoy working with others, take responsibility for your work, and are willing to learn. We value people who ask questions, share knowledge, and take a practical approach to solving problems.
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial:
- Software development, preferably in C# or Python.
- Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Build and deployment processes in cloud environments.
- Cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
- Monitoring and observability tools.
- Development and operation of technical platforms or infrastructure services.
