Information Security Consultant

We are looking for an Information Security Consultant who can combine strong technical skills with a pragmatic mindset to strengthen security across our platforms and processes.
Work with security where it truly matters
You will join our Information Security team in Aalborg and work closely with IT Operations and Development to ensure that security is built into everything we do — from cloud infrastructure to application development.
Our environment is modern and cloud-driven, with a strong focus on Azure and Kubernetes, and we continuously evolve our security capabilities to support a growing and highly dynamic trading platform.
Your role
As our new Information Security Consultant, you will work across technical security, operational resilience, and incident response.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to incident handling, investigations, and root cause analysis
- Conducting security assessments and identifying risks across systems, platforms, integrations, and suppliers
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure secure design and implementation
- Supporting and maturing our DevSecOps capabilities and secure development practices
- Reviewing infrastructure, architecture, configurations, and code from a security perspective
- Implementing and maintaining security controls, monitoring, and logging capabilities
- Supporting business continuity and crisis readiness initiatives, including testing and continuous improvements
Technologies and platforms
You will work with modern technologies and security tooling, including the Microsoft security stack. Experience with these technologies is considered a strong advantage.
As part of our security function, you will operate in an environment where information security is foundational to how we design, build, and run our technology platforms. We are looking for a hands-on security professional who is motivated by reducing real-world risk, working proactively with modern infrastructure, strengthening controls, and partnering across the organization to ensure security is embedded, measurable, and effective against an evolving threat landscape.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with the latest technology and understands how security supports the business.
You bring:
- Experience in a security role such as Security Consultant, Security Engineer, or similar
- Solid technical understanding of cloud, infrastructure, and application security
- Experience working with development teams and modern delivery practices
- Preferably a background in software development or a strong technical foundation
We also value that you are:
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented
- Able to communicate security topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working across teams and disciplines
- Fluent in Danish and English
