Work, educate and learn in the space of people, leadership and performance culture. Curious about how organisations develop people, leaders and performance culture?

As a Junior H&R Development Assistant, you will contribute to key learning and development initiatives across Norlys Energy Trading. Dedication and accountability will be met with opportunity and responsibility; this is a great job for a student who wants hands-on experience and impact within H&R development, responsibility for parts of our internal Academy, and involvement in organisational development processes in a modern, still-maturing energy trading company.

The team

You will join the small and seasoned Humans & Resources Development team within Business Excellence & HR, which plays a key role in supporting the organisation’s Humans & Resources strategy and development initiatives as part of the H&R strategic ambition “Generous Learning Collective”.

The team works across the organisation with areas such as leadership development, organisational development, learning programmes and strengthening company culture. In close collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders across the business, the team leads, drives and supports initiatives that help employees and leaders learn, grow and develop.

The role

In this student role, you will support the scoping, delivery and implementation of a range of H&R development activities across Norlys Energy Trading. Your work will focus on helping ensure that learning initiatives, leadership development activities and internal training programmes run smoothly, with a clear link to overall strategic imperatives and ambitions.

You will work closely with the H&R Development team, helping structure tasks, coordinate stakeholders, participants and contributors, and maintain an overview across ongoing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support NET Academy initiatives, including organising internal workshops, training sessions and learning activities for employees.
  • Support the execution of H&R Development initiatives, including leadership development, organisational development and employee learning programmes.
  • Maintain an overview of ongoing H&R Development tasks and projects.
  • Help ensure timelines, materials, contributors, participants and stakeholders are coordinated effectively.
  • Support practical and administrative tasks related to HR Development initiatives and internal learning activities.

This role is a great opportunity for a student who wants hands-on experience with HR development. You will be involved in initiatives that support learning and leadership across the organisation while developing your planning, coordination and stakeholder management skills.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an ambitious, dedicated and learning-savvy student who is eager to learn how H&R development initiatives are designed, planned and executed in a professional organisation. You enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders, you are a good listener and a great doer, and you ask excellent questions.

Must-have skills and qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant candidate education (Cand.Merc. Org., strategy or similar).
  • Strong drive to build effective systems and processes, applying relevant technology and solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Curious and eager to learn about HR development and organisational processes.
  • A natural urge to share your own knowledge and suggestions to ensure we keep widening our perspectives and incorporate the latest insights from university.

What we offer

At Norlys Energy Trading, you will join a professional environment where collaboration, learning and development are central to how we work.

  • An hourly paid student position with office-based work in Aalborg.
