Do you want to work at the centre of risk management in a growing energy trading business? In this role, you will help shape how we understand, measure and act on risk within our Client Solutions area. You will combine analytical depth and the development of quantitative risk models with stakeholder collaboration, contributing directly to informed and responsible trading decisions.

The team

You will join the Risk Management team within Client Solutions at Norlys Energy Trading. The team operates in a collaborative environment with supportive colleagues, where knowledge sharing and close cooperation are part of everyday work.

The role

As a Quantitative Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that risks are identified, understood and managed effectively across our Client Solutions business, with a focus on PPAs and environmental markets.

You will work with both analytical tools and stakeholders to translate complex risk insights into clear and actionable perspectives.

The role offers an opportunity to shape how we work with risk – from developing risk models to strengthening a risk-conscious mindset across teams. You will have a direct impact on how decisions are supported and executed in a dynamic trading environment.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will take ownership of both quantitative risk modelling and the collaborative aspects of risk management, ensuring that risk is proactively managed and clearly communicated across the organisation.
You will:

  • Develop and maintain quantitative risk models for our Client Solutions business
  • Prepare and review risk analysis reports
  • Engage with stakeholders across teams to ensure alignment on risk perspectives
  • Contribute to fostering a strong and proactive risk-conscious culture

In this role, you will have the opportunity to dive into complex quantitative risk models in close collaboration with the risk team. If you are motivated by combining deep analytical work with collaboration and impact, this is a place where you can truly make a difference.
