Do you want to play a key role in expanding our gas origination activities across Eastern Europe?
As Senior Gas Originator, you will combine market insight, relationship-building and commercial execution to grow our presence in developing gas markets and identify new opportunities across Europe. The role offers a high degree of autonomy and influence in a business where speed, commercial thinking and market understanding matter.
The team
You will join the Physical Gas Trading department and report directly to the Head of Physical Gas Trading. The team works closely with trading, risk, compliance and portfolio management to structure and execute commercial opportunities across European gas markets.
The role
Your primary focus will be to drive our expansion across Eastern European gas markets. You will develop new commercial opportunities, build strategic relationships across the value chain, and help establish a strong presence in developing and less regulated markets.
The role combines market development with hands-on execution across primary and secondary gas markets, including supply, transport, storage and flexibility.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute gas origination strategies across Eastern Europe
- Identify opportunities in developing and regulated gas markets
- Build relationships with producers, suppliers, traders, end-users and other counterparties
- Structure and negotiate supply, transport, storage and flexibility agreements
- Collaborate with trading, risk, compliance and portfolio management on new business initiatives
- Monitor market, infrastructure and regulatory developments across target regions

What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Gas Originator who is motivated by building markets, developing relationships and creating value in complex environments. You bring both strategic perspective and hands-on execution capability.
Must-have
- Significant experience within gas origination, trading or business development
- Strong track record as an Originator with a focus on CEE markets
- Deep understanding of European gas markets, particularly Eastern Europe
- Strong understanding of transport and storage capacity markets
- Established network across producers, utilities and trading counterparties
- Proven ability to operate in less regulated and high-growth markets
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
- Commercial mindset and entrepreneurial approach
Nice-to-have
- Advanced structuring and analytical capabilities
- Experience identifying and monetizing market inefficiencies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
