Student Assistant – Trade Operations Optimisation

We provide a unique chance for a motivated Student Assistant to join our Trade Operations Optimisation team in Aalborg. This role will give you hands-on experience in trading operations, data accuracy, and cross-team collaboration, building a strong foundation for a future career in energy trading.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with daily operations, including imbalance registration, storage and capacity updates, and trade/fee registration.
- Coordinate with Back Office to investigate mismatches and ensure data accuracy.
- Monitor credit limits and act as the "first line of defense" by detecting errors.
- Develop and maintain knowledge resources, including guides, onboarding materials, and process documentation.

Job requirements
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- A proactive approach, always asking questions to understand processes fully.
- High accuracy when working with data and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams (traders, back office, developers, risk, and finance).
Desirable qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A curious and eager-to-learn attitude, constantly looking for ways to improve.
