Anna’s path into energy tech is extraordinary. First a nurse, then a Computer Science student, and now about to become a full-time software developer at NET – all while balancing family life with two small kids.
What surprised her most when joining was the level of trust:
“The most surprising thing was that I was expected to be an actual, integrated part of the team. I actually had to develop. Nobody asks you to get coffee; they ask for your professional opinion.”
Her biggest lesson has been the power of feedback – both asking for it and giving it. And she hopes more women will apply for software roles, knowing how valuable a diverse mix can be.
