Mathilde’s journey at Norlys Energy Trading began with a part-time job in back office while she was still a student. A casual chat over coffee led to a new opportunity, and she soon moved into compliance - an area that matched both her academic interests and her career ambitions.
“I really enjoyed my time in back office, but in compliance I get to work more directly with legislation and challenges that fit my academic background and career ambitions.”
When she finished her studies, Mathilde stepped straight into a full-time role as compliance officer. The transition felt natural, built on the trust and experience she had gained as a student worker. Taking on new responsibility so early in her career has shown her the value of being bold and going after what she wants.
